Hazem Al-Menoufy, head of the foodstuffs division at the Alexandria Chamber of Commerce, told Masrawy that the prices of Al-Arousa tea have increased by regarding between 1 and 5 pounds per package, in the markets, starting today.
Al-Menoufi added that the 40-gram package of tea rose to 8 pounds, compared to 7 pounds before the increase, and the price of the 250-gram package increased to 45 pounds, compared to 40 pounds before the increase.
Al-Arousa Tea Company had raised the price of a quarter-kilo tea package by regarding 7 pounds last January.
