The weather forecast map issued by the General Meteorological Authority revealed that the latest satellite images indicate that there are chances of rain in most parts of the Republic, which are moderate and sometimes thundery.
The Meteorological Authority indicated that the chances of rain will be light to moderate in the evening over Greater Cairo, southern Lower Egypt, and the canal cities, pointing out that rain will be moderate and sometimes thundery on the northwestern coasts and northern Lower Egypt at intermittent intervals.
The Meteorological Authority added that the chances of rain extend to moderate and may be thundery at times, and may reach torrential rains in Sinai, the Red Sea Governorate, and the roads leading to southern Upper Egypt, and moderate rain and thunderstorms at times in northern and southern Upper Egypt.
Today, Monday, weather will be cold during the day in Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, the northern coasts and the south of the country, warm in South Sinai, and cold at night in most parts and in the early morning.
As for the temperatures today, Monday: Great Cairo is 22 degrees and the lowest is 13, Alexandria is 21 and the lowest is 12, Matrouh is 18 degrees and the lowest is 10, Great Sohag is 23 degrees and the lowest is 13, Great Qena is 24 degrees and the lowest is 15, and Great Aswan is 23 degrees and the lowest is 16.
