Laura Meyer has gone from one extreme to another in her first 18 months at the helm of the Hotelplan group. In January 2021, when she joined the travel specialist owned by Migros and employing 2,000 people, bookings were almost non-existent. This summer, the need to catch up on the vacations set aside obliges, it is quite the opposite that has happened. She discusses this great gap, as well as the issues that affect tourism: from the labor shortage to inflation and the challenge of sustainable tourism.
