Belgium reacted well in the League of Nations. The Red Devils crushed Poland 6-1, thus making forget their heavy initial loss (1-4) once morest the Netherlands.
The Belgians however suffered the opening of the score of the inevitable Lewandowski (28th), but they ended up cracking the visitors. Witsel equalized once more before the break (42nd), before De Bruyne gave them the lead following a fine pass from Eden Hazard (59th).
Belgium then unrolled and salted the addition by Trossard (73rd / 80th), Dendoncker (83rd) and Openda (93rd) during a very difficult end to the match for an overwhelmed Poland. The score might have been even more severe if Batshuayi had been more precise in his conclusions. Note that Belgium scored 11 shots once morest only 1 for Poland.
The Netherlands impose themselves on the wire
The Netherlands celebrated their second away success by winning 2-1 in Wales. The Oranje led 1-0 thanks to a success from Koopmeiners (50th) before conceding the equalizer from Norrington-Davies in the 92nd. But Weghorst gave them the win in the 93rd.
