League of Nations: France and Croatia back to back – rts.ch

In a remake of the final of the last World Cup, France and Croatia might not decide for their 2nd match in the League of Nations. In Split, the two teams drew 1-1.

Neither team might really redeem themselves from their poor start to the campaign. On Friday, Croatia lost 3-0 to Austria and France, without coach Didier Deschamps (father deceased), lost 2-1 at home to Denmark.

In Split, Deschamps was on the bench, as were Karim Benzema, Kingsley Coman, Antoine Griezmann (who came on) and Kylian Mbappé. Even without its stars, France has long dominated.

Adrien Rabiot opened the scoring in the 52nd. But on a penalty caused by Jonathan Clauss, Andrej Kamaric (83rd) equalized for the Croats less than 10 minutes from the end of the match.
