Lebanese League: Al-Ahly Nabatieh to the first division

Al-Ahly Club of Nabatiyeh reaches the Lebanese First Division, following finishing second in the Second Division, behind Champion Racing.

  • Al-Ahly Nabatiyeh raised its tally to 29 points, in second place (Hassan Bahsoun).

Al-Ahly Club of Nabatieh qualified for the Lebanese First Division, by defeating Sporting, 2-1, today, Friday, at “Al-Ahed” stadium, in the last round of the top six in the second division.

Al-Ahly Nabatiyeh raised its score to 29 points in second place, while Sporting’s balance stuck at 20 points in fourth place.

Haider Awada scored the double for Al-Ahly Al-Nabatiyeh in the 45th and 47th minutes, while Sporting reduced the score in the 52nd minute through Bilal Fakih.

In another match, Al-Islah failed to qualify for the first division, following losing 3-1 to Racing.

The match witnessed the scoring of the Racing trio through Hussein Ezz El-Din, Ali Al-Musawi and Ali Ayoub, while Al-Islah scored through Khaled Al-Sati.

Racing raised its score to 34 points in the lead, while Al-Islah froze at 27 points.
