Supervision and Leadership: Providing direct supervision to the TLTA NYIFUP senior Supervising Attorney and the TLTA Supervising Accredited Representative, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
Legal Progress and Training: Overseeing the creation of essential legal playbooks and the delivery of monthly IJC legal trainings, ensuring cutting-edge legal knowledge and practice for IJC staff and partners.
Technical Assistance and Capacity Building: Managing the provision of legal technical assistance and specialized legal training services to the New York State Fellows, a key cohort of emerging immigration law practitioners.
Fellowship Support: Collaborating closely with the Fellowship Department to develop content and facilitate Fellowship Office Hours, offering guidance and mentorship to fellows.
Reporting and Compliance: Supporting the meticulous completion of monthly, quarterly, and other contractual and organizational reporting requirements, ensuring accountability and program effectiveness.

Qualifications for Success:

To excel in this role, candidates must possess:

Admission to the New York Bar.
At least 7 years of dedicated immigration law practice, with a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role.
