Legal Medicine Union wants to dialogue with Gustavo Bolívar

Last September 14, 2022 Senator Gustavo Bolívar at a press conference presented the project through which the nature of the Institute of Legal Medicine is modified.

Asonal Judicial and the union of the Institute have disagreed with the project and they assure that the proposal was never made known to all public servants.

Also read in The W:

“In the exhibition made by Senator Gustavo Bolívar says that the institute is an appendage of the Prosecutor’s Office so there is no guarantee of transparency, implying that the officials who belong to the Institute are corrupt just because they are attached to the entity”, they say.

“The above might generate ill-intentioned pointing and judgments regarding the credibility and suitability of the public servant who is part of the Institute, calling into question professional ethics, suitability, honesty, among others.” they added in a statement.

The unions claim that they are not opposed to the changes as long as they sit down with the officials to talk.
