In front of us, the water is a crystalline blue, almost inert. It almost inspires a form of tranquility. For security reasons related to radioactivity, we are however not allowed to approach it. We are confined to a small space delimited by yellow lines, on a grid. Beneath our feet, pipes connect the reactor to pumps. They carry water, essential for cooling the machine. Above us, a white dome, that of the main building of the Leibstadt nuclear power plant. It gives the impression of being in a marquee. An empty marquee lulled by the noise of the fans.
