Lenovo has expanded its Yoga series with the release of the Yoga True Wireless Noise-Cancelling earbuds, a new entry into the increasingly competitive true wireless stereo (TWS) market. Positioned as an affordable option, these earbuds aim to deliver a quality audio experience with the added benefit of active noise cancellation (ANC). The launch caters to consumers seeking a balance between price and features in their wireless audio solutions.
The Yoga True Wireless Noise-Cancelling earbuds feature a minimalist design reminiscent of Apple’s AirPods, with a square charging case that opens in a clamshell fashion. The earbuds themselves adopt an in-ear design with included eartips for a secure and comfortable fit. Lenovo emphasizes seamless integration within its ecosystem, particularly for users of Yoga laptops and other Lenovo devices.
According to Lenovo, the earbuds can connect instantly to compatible Yoga laptops simply by opening the charging case – a feature the company describes as a connection “at the DNA level.” The earbuds also support simultaneous connection to two devices, such as a laptop and a smartphone, allowing users to switch effortlessly between audio sources.
Under the hood, the Yoga True Wireless Noise-Cancelling earbuds are powered by 12.2mm dual-magnetic drivers, offering a frequency response range of 20Hz to 20kHz. Each earbud incorporates three microphones to facilitate clear call quality through Environmental Noise Cancellation (ENC) and Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) technology, with ANC reaching up to -40dB. ENC focuses on reducing background noise for the caller, while ANC actively diminishes ambient sound for the listener.
Battery life is rated for up to seven hours with ANC disabled and 4.5 hours with ANC enabled. The charging case provides an additional 24-36 hours of listening time. The earbuds also boast an IPX4 rating, indicating resistance to light rain and suitability for exercise.
Pricing and Availability
The Yoga True Wireless Noise-Cancelling earbuds are currently available for purchase in China, priced at 599 yuan, which is approximately $83 USD or 1.4 million Indonesian Rupiah as of March 23, 2026, according to Gizmo China. Gizmo China first reported on the launch.
Whether the earbuds will be released in other markets, including Indonesia, remains unconfirmed. Lenovo has not yet announced plans for international availability.
Understanding ANC and ENC
Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) and Environmental Noise Cancellation (ENC) are key features driving the appeal of modern wireless earbuds. ANC works by actively creating opposing sound waves to cancel out external noise, providing a more immersive listening experience. ENC, utilizes microphones to isolate and suppress background noise during calls, ensuring clearer voice transmission for the person on the other end. These technologies are becoming increasingly common in TWS earbuds across various price points.
The Yoga True Wireless Noise-Cancelling earbuds represent Lenovo’s attempt to capture a segment of the market that prioritizes affordability without sacrificing essential features like noise cancellation. The seamless integration with Lenovo’s ecosystem could be a significant draw for existing Yoga laptop owners.
As the TWS market continues to evolve, consumers have more choices than ever. The success of the Yoga True Wireless Noise-Cancelling earbuds will depend on their performance in real-world testing and Lenovo’s ability to expand their availability beyond China.
