Jaipur: In Rajasthan, which is gearing up for assembly elections next year, the dispute between the two main leaders of the state has become a major headache for the Congress. Efforts are being made to resolve the issue between Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and Sachin Pilot under the leadership of Rahul Gandhi and others. Meanwhile, Rahul Gandhi’s response is that he will hear the good news soon following the meeting with both of them.
Rahul Gandhi had a meeting with both the leaders on Monday. While coming out following the meeting held at the Circuit House in Alwar, Rajasthan, Rahul Gandhi responded to a question from reporters that he would hear good news soon. The reply was to the question whether the reconciliation efforts between the two leaders were successful.
Congress National General Secretary KC Venugopal also participated in the discussion. The meeting lasted for 30 minutes. This has fueled speculations that Rahul’s words are a sign that the long-standing disputes between the state leaders have been resolved. Bharat Jodo Yatra currently passes through Rajasthan.
