The project aims to improve the quality of education for autistic students in Morocco and in particular the implementation of policies concerning the inclusive education of people with disabilities.

The practice of sport has always been considered by the collective not only as a lever for rehabilitation and social inclusion, but also a tool for raising awareness and mobilizing in favor of the rights of people with autism.

Through this project, the CAM aims to facilitate the access of autistic people to the practice of sport by developing an innovative Moroccan model in the field of adapted sport for autistic people and to promote inclusion through the visibility of young self-representing athletes. (e)s.

Speaking at the launch seminar of this project at the Regional Center for Education and Training Professions in Rabat, the president of the autism collective Autisme Maroc, Afaf Affane Aji that this project is initiated in collaboration with two associations of the collective to enable students with autism to fully enjoy their rights, particularly in terms of sport.

The objective is to integrate them into their school environment and contribute to the implementation of public policies in the field of inclusive education, she added.

This presentation seminar and launch of this project was an opportunity to emphasize the importance of physical education and sports practice in general as a lever for the school inclusion of autistic children and the development of their abilities and skills.
