Lily Allen isn’t mincing words on her new album, “West End Girl,” which appears to be mostly directed at her ex-husband, “Stranger Things” star David Harbour.
Though Allen takes care not to name names on her album, which dropped Friday, she throws around terms like “my husband” and seems to provide specific examples of the breakdown surrounding their potentially open relationship.

Allen sings about a person seeing other women in the song “Ruminating,” and trying to do the same herself on the songs “Nonmonogamummy” and “Dallas Major.”
She also mentions a certain “arrangement” the two shared that seemingly went awry in the song “Madeline.”
“We had an arrangement/ Be discreet and don’t be blatant/ There had to be payment/ It had to be with strangers,” Allen says.
She also mentions finding “a shoebox full of handwritten letters,” “Sheets pulled off the bed” and “long black hair, probably from the night before” in the song “Pussy Palace” before getting even more explicit about someone she labels a “sex addict.”
“Duane Reade bag with the handles tied/ Sex toys, butt plugs, lube inside/ Hundreds of Trojans, you’re so fucking broken/ How’d I get caught up in your double life?” she sings.
Neither Allen’s nor Harbour’s reps returned HuffPost’s request for comment on Friday.
The singer and actor were the subject of rumors for months before their separation was shared in People magazine in February.
The two met in 2019 and were married the following year.
Allen spoke about their separation on her podcast in March, claiming that men like women who are “young” and “dumb” and that men will “leave you for a 20-year-old” when physical attraction goes away.

Harbour refused to divulge much in an interview with GQ in Aprilinstead saying that if he spoke about his split with the singer, it would encourage “a salacious shitshow of humiliation.”
When the “Fuck You” singer was later asked about her marriage breaking down during an interview with Perfect Magazineshe told the outlet, “I don’t know what I can say.”
“Two people who were once together are not together. And that’s really sad,” she said in the article, published earlier this week. “It’s hard. It’s hard for me to not have my person, you know? And I am quite a codependent person.”
Allen was married once before to Sam Cooper, with whom she shares two daughters, Ethel Mary and Marnie Rose.
