Lionel Messi, suspended last week for an unauthorized trip to Saudi Arabia, has resumed training with Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), the Parisian club announced on Monday.
“Leo Messi back in training this Monday morning,” the club posted on its Twitter account, with a photo of the Argentine striker in action.
Messi was suspended by PSG on Tuesday following an unauthorized trip to Saudi Arabia, for which the “Pulga” apologized in a video posted on Instagram. His banishment finally lasted six days.
“I apologize to my teammates and await the club’s decision. I apologize to my partners and the club, ”he explained in his video.
Messi missed victory at Troyes (3-1) on Sunday and might therefore return for the match of the 35th day of the Championship once morest Ajaccio on Saturday (9:00 p.m.) at the Parc des Princes.
