Breaking: “Finding Pearls” Sightseeing Event Unveils Vietnam’s Cultural Heritage in a Modern Light

In a groundbreaking event, Vietnam’s Carst Cave has been transformed into a stage for the “Finding Pearls” sightseeing performance, merging ancient cultural elements with modern performance arts. This innovative initiative not only showcases Vietnam’s rich heritage but also positions the country as a top tourist destination for cultural enthusiasts worldwide.

Combining Tradition and Modernity

The “Finding Pearls” event marks the first time Vietnam’s Carst Cave has been used as a live performance stage. The event features a stunning blend of dance, circus performances, and folk songs, all set against the backdrop of the magnificent 4,000m-wide cave. The performance, titled “Quangnin,” depicts the evolution of the mining residents’ lives from ancient times to the present, incorporating brilliant full dances and traditional folk songs.

A Cultural Ambassador for Vietnam

Under the direction of talented director Legan Fong, the performance combines various performing arts, including dance, circus, folk songs, and traditional instruments. The Circus Performing Arts segment was directed by Nguyo Retang, an accomplished circus director and artist. The program received support from experts such as Dr. Nguyenteki, Associate Professor, and the Chairman of the Central Committee for Literature, Art Theory, and Criticism.

An Unforgettable Experience for Visitors

Visitors to the “Finding Pearls” performance can enjoy a light party in the cool, romantic atmosphere of the cave, accompanied by Vietnamese special dishes. The event also offers a unique dining experience with Halong squid rolls, tienyan chicken, and noddle cakes, providing a glimpse into Vietnam’s culinary heritage.

Inspiration from Global Success Stories

Inspired by successful cave tourism models from around the world, such as the Grotto Tavern in Italy and the Senota Museum in Mexico, Vietnam is developing its cave tourism routes. Quang Ninh, with its rich rocky mountains and numerous caves, is leveraging these natural resources to create major tourist attractions. The Ngong Long Cave, located outside the core heritage zone, is an ideal space for various tourist activities.

A New Era for Vietnamese Tourism

Palm Le Hong, chairman of the Kampasi People’s Committee, highlights the potential of the Vung Duc landscape area, adjacent to Bai Tu Long Bay, for developing four tourist courses in Halong Bay and Bai Tu Long. Hang NGOC RONG Co., Ltd., the event organizer, aims to provide high-quality tourism services, attracting international tourists and introducing Vietnamese culture to the world.

The “Finding Pearls” sightseeing event is a testament to Vietnam’s commitment to preserving its cultural heritage while embracing modern tourism. By combining live performances and culinary experiences within the natural beauty of its caves, Vietnam is setting a new standard for cultural tourism.
