‘Live the Door Open’ wins Song of the Year at Grammy Awards

Silk Sonic’s “Live the Door Open” won Song of the Year at the Grammy Awards for music in Las Vegas following it was postponed due to the Corona pandemic.
Jazz musician John Baptiste won four awards.
Among the accolades won by Batiste, who is nominated for eleven awards, was Best Music Video for “Freedom” (Freedom).
Accepting the award, Baptiste said, “I am so grateful for the gifts God has given me and the ability to share for the love of humanity.”
Batiste’s “Cry” “Scream” won Best Performance and Best American Roots Song. It also participated in winning the award for best soundtrack for visual media, for composing and arranging the music for the movie (Soul) “Soul”.
The award ceremony was postponed from January due to a spike in COVID-19 cases and was moved from Los Angeles to Las Vegas.
