Great anger in Liverpool following missed penalty in stoppage time

With the game clock on 99, Liverpool screamed for a penalty when Alexis MacAllister got Jeremy Dokus studded in the chest.
But the VAR room proposed.

The heated summit between Liverpool and Manchester City ended 1–1.
But the home team might, and perhaps should, have had the chance from eleven meters in the last shaky seconds of the match.
Because when the stoppage time was over, nine minutes of added time, Argentinian Alexis Mac Allister had City player Jeremy Dokus studded in the chest in the attacking penalty area.
Referee Michael Oliver proposed outside the pitch, but the VAR room reviewed the situation.

“100 percent penalty”
After a few tense seconds, Doku was freed and Oliver whistled the match.
Liverpool coach Jürgen Klopp was critical followingwards.
– Everyone interested in football on this planet sees that it is a penalty. It was 100 percent punishment. It was 100 percent a foul all over the field and probably a yellow card. Everyone around me with iPads was like “wow, it’s done.” But maybe they (VAR room) are hiding behind the phrase that it “is not clear and obvious.” It’s a penalty, of course, but we didn’t get it and that’s okay. The most important thing for me is that we can play football in this way, says the German.
The draw means that Arsenal lead the league on better goal difference than Liverpool.
