Communities Across the Region to Unite for National Night Out on August 5th

PHILADELPHIA, PA – Multiple towns and cities across the delaware Valley are gearing up to host National Night Out events on Tuesday, August 5th, 2025, fostering stronger bonds between residents and local law enforcement. The annual summer tradition, spearheaded by the National Association of Town Watch, aims to enhance community spirit and promote public safety.

East Falls will transform Wissahickon Brewing Company (3705 W. School House Lane) into a hub of activity from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., offering fire truck rides, giveaways, and crime-safety facts from police leaders.The event’s theme, “There’s Unity in CommUnity,” underscores its core mission.

In Camden County, the Police Department will host a celebration at Farnham Park (1648 baird Boulevard) featuring a “touch-a-truck” display of emergency vehicles, live music, food, games, and public safety demonstrations.

Perkasie Borough Police Department invites residents to the Perkasie Town Center (7th and Market) from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. for an evening of police and emergency vehicle displays, entertainment, and family-kind activities.

New Hope and Solebury Township Police Departments are joining forces to host an event at Laurel Park (3092 Sugar Road, Solebury) from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., providing refreshments, interactive activities, health screenings, and access to community resources.

Gloucester Township is encouraging residents to participate in a unique approach to National Night Out – “lock their doors, turn on outside lights, and spend the evening outside” with neighbors and police, with various neighborhood watch groups organizing block parties and other gatherings.

Lower Merion Township will host its National Night Out at the Wynnewood shopping Center (50 E. Wynnewood Road) from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.,featuring live music,food,rides,carnival games,and opportunities to interact with local Police,Fire,and Narberth Ambulance personnel.
