The fourth seven-fold jackpot in 38 years of Lotto is history; a player from Styria ended this unusual jackpot series with a six and thus with a win of exactly 11,152,282.90 euros.
The success was achieved by quick tip, the computer in a betting shop in southern Styria placed the “six correct numbers” 15, 19, 32, 37, 39 and 40 in the sixth of 12 tips played.
A total of 8.6 million bets were submitted for Sunday’s draw, which increased the six-number prize to more than 11 million euros. The solo six-number prize of 11.1 million euros is the second highest win ever achieved in Austria in Lotto 6 out of 45.
