At just 12 years old, Lucas showed incredible resilience in the face of “incurable” cancer. Diagnosed at 6 years old with an infiltrating glioma of the brain stem, his survival was estimated at two years maximum.
However, thanks to an experimental treatment led by Dr. Jacques Grill in Paris, Lucas not only survived, but his MRI today shows near normality.
This treatment opens new perspectives for many other patients suffering from this rare disease.
