It was twelve years ago this week. The Viennese musician and songwriter Ludwig Hirsch died on November 24, 2011. Five years later, a place from his youth in Vienna’s second district was named following him, and now this Ludwig-Hirsch-Platz is to receive a donation: a life-size, seated statue of Ludwig Hirsch is to be created and make the square more hirsch. To support the project, a new compilation has been released.
