Vienna/Ankara – Vienna’s Mayor Michael Ludwig (SPÖ) commented cautiously on the celebrations in Vienna-Favoriten following Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s victory in the Turkish presidential election. On the fringes of a press conference, he called the Tuesday morning celebrations “peaceful” and “loud.” There have also been administrative violations that are being investigated.
