Luke Hemmings, a soloist who is also a member of the Australian band 5 Seconds of Summer (5SOS), has officially released his latest single entitled Shakes. The song was launched on March 6, 2024, at 14:00 Los Angeles time, United States.
Shakes tells the story of someone who doesn’t want to feel alone and stays with the person he loves. The person also expressed his complaints through a statement. He wants to always be with his lover, even if only in dreams.
The single was produced by Sammy Witte, one of the people behind songs by singers Harry Styles, SZA and Halsey. With a pop genre, Shakes is believed to be a love song that can soothe the hearts of many people.
Apart from releasing the single Shakes, the Australian musician also plans to release a solo mini album entitled Boy.
“I wrote the songs on this album at a time when I was questioning everything I knew regarding the world and myself. All the emotions, fears and sadness that came with it. Until then, enjoy Shakes,” said Hemmings.
The album is planned to be released on April 26 2024. Previously, in 2021, Hemmings had released a full album entitled When Facing the Things We Turn Away From. (Ant/Z-11)
