Luqueño and Guaraní announce modernization and remodeling of their soccer stadiums

Asuncion, IP Agency.-The works will be funded by the South American Football Confederation.

The president of Sportivo Luqueño, Daniel Rodríguez, announced at a press conference the remodeling and modernization of the Feliciano Cáceres stadium, thanks, in part, to a financial advance provided by Conmebol.

“We are going to turn the Feliciano Cáceres into one of the most modern stadiums in Paraguay. We are talking about repairing the north stands, the preferential seating, the complete remodeling of the press booths, and the box sections,” said the manager.

He declined to give an exact figure for the total investment, but said that the stadium’s capacity will not change, meaning it will hold around 24,000 people.

Meanwhile, the Guaraní club also announced on social media the project to renovate the Rogelio Silvino Livieres stadium.

“Today is a historic day for Club Guaraní and Paraguayan football. We thank Conmebol and its president Alejandro Domínguez for the contribution of 2,500,000 dollars for the construction of our stadium,” said the black and gold entity.
