Magnus Nygren will leave Davos at the end of the season

Magnus Nygren, the defense strategist of HC Davos, will return to his native Sweden at the end of the season. The 32-year-old defender announced his decision on the Graubünden club’s website.

Nygren justified his decision to leave the National League following six seasons on the grounds that his eldest daughter would attend school next year.

Nygren had been transferred from Färjestad to Davos in 2017 and has always been one of the players with the most playing time and has often appeared on the scoresheet. He has not yet decided which Swedish club he will pursue his career.
