Mahrer ad Carinthia: A victory for the middle of society

Congratulations to Martin Gruber and the Carinthian People’s Party – rejection of left-wing politics

Vienna (OTS) – “I would like to congratulate the Carinthian People’s Party, led by Provincial Councilor Martin Gruber, on the clear electoral success and the developments in Carinthia,” said the Provincial Party Chairman of the Vienna People’s Party City Councilor Karl Mahrer in a first reaction.

In view of the currently available projections, the People’s Party was able to record a significant increase. Contrary to politically motivated interpretations of surveys in advance, the SPÖ has to accept massive losses. “Carinthia needs a strong civil voice in the state government. The People’s Party sees itself as a representative for the people in the country who want a majority-capable policy, contrary to the right and left fringes. This was reinforced by today’s clear plus,” concluded Mahrer.
