Maintenance work on Nord Stream 1: lower gas deliveries to Austria – energy market

Vienna – After the Russian state-owned company Gazprom interrupted gas deliveries to Germany via the Nord Stream 1 Baltic Sea pipeline due to maintenance work on Wednesday, lower volumes of gas from Russia have also been announced for Austria. According to OMV, 70 percent less gas will flow on Wednesday than contractually agreed. According to the Ministry of Energy, the storage target of 80 percent by November 1st is still achievable.
