Firefighters from the NAGE zone (Eghezée station), led by Captain Christian Lambert, went to the scene with a multi-functional pumper and two ambulances. A private ambulance, a SMUR unit and a marking vehicle from the Namur firefighters also reached the scene.

Four people were injured. One of them had to be extricated. The victims were taken to area hospitals.

The causes of this violent collision are not known; it will be up to the investigation to establish them.

Several teams from the Orneau-Mehaigne police zone were responsible for the findings and road marking.

The Cassart wrecker, from Bovesse, was called upon to remove the two wrecks.
