“Major Police Operation Leads to Drug Trafficking Arrests and Firearm Seizures in Quebec City”

The Quebec City Police Service (SPVQ) announced on Wednesday the arrest of five suspects for drug trafficking offenses as well as the seizure of two firearms and drugs.

The suspects, men aged 31 to 49, were released by summons, said the SPVQ, which carried out searches last Thursday in three residences and five vehicles in the boroughs of Charlesbourg, Beauport and Les Rivières.

In addition to the vehicles searched, the police seized in particular two firearms, an electric pulse weapon, 500 grams of cocaine, cash and a telescopic baton, according to the results of the major police operation.
