André Frédéric explains “take this place Wednesday at 9am”. While he is talking to the journalist, we suddenly see Jean-Claude Marcourt behind him, bag in hand to collect his belongings.
“I didn’t want to sit in your place you know, I said it wasn’t my place until tomorrow“, asks André Frédéric, seeming embarrassed to have been caught in the act. “Absolutely”replies Jean-Claude Marcourt laconically without interrupting himself or looking at the future president of the Walloon Parliament. “That’s why I’m here”, continues André Frédéric to justify himself, facing a placid Jean-Claude Marcourt. He simply answers “it’s perfect” before slipping away and refusing the journalist’s questions.
