Islamabad: After 10 years of Taliban assassination attempt, Nobel laureate Malala Yousaf Sai has reached her native Pakistan. They had come to visit the flood victims.

Malala was shot in the head by the Taliban while campaigning for girls to get an education. Malala was 15 years old then. Later, Malala was taken to Britain for specialist treatment. Malala’s further education was also in Britain. Malala Pandana, who dedicated her life to global education, is the youngest person to win the Nobel Peace Prize. Malala, who arrived in Karachi on the 10th anniversary of the attack, visited the flood-ravaged areas.

The organization Malala Fund said that the visit is to focus international attention and seek aid to the affected areas.

Pakistan suffered a loss of 28 billion dollars due to floods. A third of the country was inundated and 8 million people were displaced. People in the affected areas are facing health crisis.
