Madinah A Malayali pilgrim who returned to Mecca on foot for the holy Hajj reached Madinah. Today, Shihab Chotoor reached Madinah following crossing various countries which started on June 2.
He reached Akul, which is twenty kilometers away from Medina, following crossing more than 8000 kilometers through countries like Pakistan, Iran, Iraq, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia. After rest will reach Masjiduna Bawvi today evening.
Twenty-five days before Hajj he will go to Makkah for Hajj Kamma. He said that he traveled only two kilometers in a vehicle from Pakistan to Iran and Saudi Kuwait and the rest was on foot.
Madinah will be reached following 11 months of the journey which started last year.
Shihab Chotoor, who entered Saudi Arabia through Saudi Kuwaiti guest Al Raqa’i, was received and accompanied by people including Malayalis in many places. When he reached Madina, he was visited by the Madina KMCC workers and extended their greetings. Rafiq Faizi, a native of Manjeswaram, accompanied him in Alkhaseem.
