During the night of last Wednesday, October 18, residents of block 4, sector 6 of Caña de Azúcar, Mario Briceño Iragorry municipality, found a man on the pavement in the middle of a public road.
They immediately called MBI Civil Protection officials and the regional ambulance coordinator, who upon arriving at the site were in charge of examining the citizen’s body.
During the inspection, they observed that he had a blow to the head, which they presume left him unconscious and in a ventral ulna position.
Among his clothing they found his identity card that identifies him as Edgar José López, 67 years old.
The injured person was taken to the emergency service of the Maracay Central Hospital, where he is under observation by doctors on duty.
