A man was injured following jumping into the swimming pool at the 9/11 memorial in New York.
The authorities quickly managed to transport him to the hospital to treat injuries to his leg, but also to undergo a psychological evaluation.
In the images, we can see the individual launching into the northern pool which is 30 feet high.
For the moment, it is not known whether the man had lost a family member in the tragic event in 2001.
He might face charges for illegally trespassing within the monument’s boundaries.
