Hamburg – For many, Ulrich Wickert stands above all for quality political journalism and news. But his passion lies elsewhere. In fact, he always found culture more exciting than politics in his life, says the 79-year-old, whom millions of people still know as “Mr. Daily Topics” on ARD, the German Press Agency in Hamburg. On Friday (December 2nd) the media man will be 80 years old.
