A California man who pleaded guilty to aiding an effort to disrupt the peaceful transfer of power is seeking permission to travel to Washington, D.C., to attend the inauguration of Donald Trump.

Russell Taylor, who already faces a three-year probation amidst a sprawling criminal case against the Jan 6 rioters, requested permission from U.S. District Judge Royce Lamberth to travel with his family to the event on Jan. 20.
