Manchester City once again beat Copenhagen for the quarter-finals of the Champions League

The defending champion reached the top eight in the Champions League with a double win, following beating FC Köbenhavn 3-1 at home on Wednesday in the second leg of the round of 16 match.

Advancement was practically already decided in Copenhagen, where three weeks ago the English won 3-1, and they also started the second leg at maximum speed.

Less than five minutes later, Manuel Akanji took the lead, and by the 10th minute the scoreboard was already 2-0 following Julian Álverez’s goal, in which the impressive visiting goalkeeper played a key role.
