The perpetrator of the deadly shooting in Hautem-Saint-Liévin is still not found. The East Flanders public prosecutor’s office confirmed this on Sunday.
Saturday followingnoon, lawyer Claudia Van Der Stichelen was killed in a shooting near her office. Her son was taken to hospital.
“We are searching with all our might for the perpetrator of the shooting,” declared the press officer of the East Flanders public prosecutor’s office. An investigating judge has been appointed. The motive of the perpetrator of the shooting is not yet clear.
