Manuel Ferreira, mayor of the Urbaneja municipality of Anzoátegui state, reported on social networks regarding the death of one of the injured left by the explosion on Tuesday in the Pueblo Viejo residential complex, in Puerto La Cruz.

The deceased was identified as Félix Villalobos, who was one of the four injured as a result of the explosion that Remigio Ceballos, People’s Power Minister for the Interior, Justice and Peace, indicated was generated by the accumulation of flammable gases in the area.

“We regret to inform that Félix Villalobos, one of those injured by the explosion yesterday (Tuesday), died at the Razetti Hospital. Peace to his soul and our sincere condolences to his relatives. Civil Protection (PC) Urbaneja continues to monitor the state health of the victims”.
Villalobos is the second citizen to die as a result of the accident, following Eglis Marchán, who lost his life instantly at the time of the tragedy that brought Anzoátegui to mourning.
