Manuel Luciano wins 1st edition of the “Grande Cavalgada de Benguela” – news

Athlete Manuel Luciano won, last Sunday, the first edition of the horse race called “Grande Cavalgada de Benguela”, held on the Buraco da Câmara track, located in zone A (Camunda).

In the immediate places were Ivan Pereira and Osvaldo Sereno, respectively. Speaking to the press, Manuel Luciano considered the race to be quite difficult, as he was overtaken in the first two of three stages, “for technical reasons”.

The winner made a point of defending the continuity of equestrian events of this kind, to encourage the mass expansion of this very old sport in the province of Benguela and perhaps in the country.

“We have been riding horses since we were little, we just need the competent authorities to invest more in this modality”, he emphasized.
