Al-Marsad Newspaper: Cardiac surgeon and researcher in the field of stem cells, Safouq Al-Shammari, said that many patients who receive heart transplants find that they have memories of the donor.

Al-Shammari explained, during an interview with him on the “Stages with Ali Al-Olayani” program: Surgically, it is assumed that the heart does not contain any memory, indicating: Memory is only in the brain.

He continued: A person’s characteristics may change following a heart transplant, indicating: Medicine has no explanation for that.
