15-year-old Marcelina from Orzesze is dead. On Monday evening, the police delivered dramatic news. “Ladies and gentlemen, the search has ended. The body of a 15-year-old girl has been found,” it said.

Police officers from Mikołów received a report of a possible accident on the railway on Sunday evening. Officers sent to the scene found only a backpack with documents. A search for the 15-year-old from Orzesze in the Silesian province began, because the girl had not returned home since Sunday and there had been no contact with her.

The tragic end of the search for 15-year-old Marcelina

“Attention! Important announcement. We are looking for 15-year-old Marcelina from Orzesze. Description: light eyes, dark blond hair, shoulder-length. Probably wearing a dark sweatshirt, light bell-bottom pants and black shoes with white soles. The girl may have injuries,” the police reported.

There was a suspicion that the girl could have been hit by a Koleje Śląskie passenger train on the Mikołów – Łaziska Górne Brada route early Sunday afternoon. The police obtained a recording showing the 15-year-old standing on the tracks.
