Markazia – Al-Makari and Al-Asmar discuss the conditions of Lebanon TV employees

Central – The Minister of Information in the caretaker government, Ziyad Al-Makari, received in his office in the ministry, the head of the General Labor Union, Bishara Al-Asmar, at the head of a delegation from the union.

Al-Asmar said following the meeting: “Today’s visit to the Minister of Information is a visit of greeting and thanks for his endeavors for justice for the employees of TV Liban. These endeavors have been going on for several months, and the Labor Union accompanies them through continuous meetings with the Syndicate of Television Employees and Minister Makari.”

He added, “We hope, in cooperation with the Minister of Finance and the curators of TV Liban, that things will go in the right direction, so that employees will obtain all their rights, whether in terms of the cost of living, transportation allowance compensation, and aid approved by the government, which includes everyone who receives public money.”

Al-Asmar continued: “We also touched on the situation of Radio Lebanon, and we reassure the employees, contractors, and workers in it that Minister Makari spares no effort in order to give them their rights, and we hope, in cooperation with all ministers and honorable people like the Minister of Information, that next year we will reach a fair and just result regarding workers and employees.” Lebanon TV.
