Representative, Major General Ashraf Rifi, submitted a question to the caretaker Energy Minister, Walid Fayyad, regarding “the discretion of the energy distribution produced by Electricité du Liban, and the lack of justice and equality in dealing with the regions.”
Rifi asked, according to a statement from his media office, “the Minister of Energy’s answer during the legal period to ask the question, so that it does not turn into an interrogation.”
