A mega blackout of electricity is affecting AMBA and several provinces, following they occurred failures in the interconnected system.
According to the Cammesa page, the company that manages the national electricity market, there was a abrupt drop in energy demand at 16:35.
In the City of Buenos Aires, power was cut in areas of Schoolboys, Villa Lugano, Patricios Park, Slaughterhouses, Palermo and Caballitoamong other.
Similar situations were also experienced in Mendoza, Córdoba, Jujuy, Salta, San Luis, Tucumán, La Pampa, La Rioja, Santa Cruz and Santiago del Estero.
The blackout that began in the early hours of the followingnoon occurred at a time when high temperatures in the AMBA area and throughout the interior of the country.
