A commercial center was gutted in a fire in Abu Dhabi’s Musafa. A huge loss is calculated. The fire broke out from a furniture showroom in Musafa Industrial Area.
A fire broke out in the furniture showroom operating in this building at 12 noon today. The service center of Mercedes-Benz in Abu Dhabi is also located in the same building. No casualties have been reported in the fire yet.
Civil Defense has safely evacuated the entire staff from the offices in the fire-stricken building and the neighboring building. The cars in the building’s car showroom were also moved out. Traffic was blocked on the surrounding roads.
Official figures on losses are not available. Abu Dhabi Police and Abu Dhabi Civil Defense jointly led the rescue operation. An investigation into the cause of the fire is underway.
