The flames destroyed a storage center belonging to a major online sales company in Russia. The building had an area of some 70,000 square meters, the equivalent of approximately ten football fields.
On videos posted on the internet, we can see dense smoke rising into the sky.
The origin of the disaster is still unknown. Russian emergency services did not report any casualties during this disaster, which mobilized more than 280 firefighters.
According to initial estimates, material damage would amount to more than 20 billion rubles, the equivalent of more than 200 million euros.
