In the detail of the figures, there were more than 200 tons of gold bars and gold coins to move. These were worth 10.4 billion euros. This represents 14,166 gold bars of approximately 12.5 kg each and 1,006 bags and cases of gold coins.
The stock of banknotes was worth more than 4.5 billion euros.

The renovation of the headquarters in Amsterdam is expected to be completed by 2024. Now that the gold is in Zeist, the building will be accessible to the public.
