Mastering Firefight: King of the Hill Mode in Halo Infinite Season 5

2023-12-05 08:32:35

Firefight mode is inspired by the horde concept from the Gears of War series and was originally added to Halo 3: ODST. Since then, there has been a Firefight version in most major Halo versions, including Halo Infinite today. The new mode is called, Firefight: King of the Hill, and it appears to largely follow the same rules as ODST, but Halo Waypoint explained some differences: “Our vision for Firefight is in many ways the same as yours. It’s close to what I remember from previous generations of Firefight. You and three other Spartans will face wave following wave of banished enemies until you win… or die trying. Experience It’s completely PvE, so there’s no other human players to sweat – just you, your fireteam, and Halo Infinite’s awesome campaign enemy lineup. When the game starts, a hill will spawn, with wave following wave getting bigger and bigger Difficult to banish enemies will try to capture the hill. Your job is to capture the hill from them and hold it until you capture it. A boss wave filled with tougher enemies than usual (and dominated by a designated High-value objectives or bosses) that spawn once you reach a certain number of hills. Piece of cake? Probably not. Be sure to play Halo Infinite today as Firefight is now added as part of Season 5 : liquidation.
