Matthias Wollenberg (62) takes over the management of Genesis in Germany as Managing Director. He succeeds Delf Schmidt, who left the company of his own volition to pursue new challenges.
Matthias Wollenberg has been working in the automotive industry for more than 30 years. He has held various positions in sales, marketing, followingsales and customer service for Daimler and Mercedes-Benz, Hyundai and the Saudi transport and multi-tech company Abdul Latif Jameel, among others. Most recently, as Managing Director “Technology”, he was responsible for development and followingsales at Mosolof Move-Tec GmbH, which specializes in special vehicles and alternative drives, and its electromobility brand Tropos.
